A person visiting the Vineyard would soon
discover that our church is not TYPICAL.
Dress is casual and varied. Dresses, jeans, shorts (comfort is the
rule). We don't have suits and ties very often, but they are welcome
too.
We welcome EVERYBODY: rich, financially challenged (is that the
politically correct way to say "broke?") atheist, Christian, perfect
(yeah, right!), sinners (the rest of us), "red, yellow, black or white,"
and every color in between.
We begin our services around 10am with about a half an hour to forty
minutes of contemporary worship. The style can be as mellow as a guitar
and a djembe drum, or as complete as a keyboard, acoustic, bass, and
electric guitars, and a full set of drums. Here are some sample
clips:
Your Love is Amazing ,
Surrender
After worship we take a short break. Then our pastor or a church leader teaches from the Bible mixed with practical life experiences for about a half hour. Go here to listen to one of our teaching times. The teaching time is often followed by a ministry time where God can minister to those who are in need. Our services usually conclude around 11:45.
